Question 1

How is pricing calculated?

Accepted Answer

We charge per active crew member per month. Crew on long-term leave, training pipelines, and reserve pilots count once. Admin and dispatcher seats are unlimited and free.

Question 2

Is there a setup fee?

Accepted Answer

No setup fee on Charter Starter or Operator. Enterprise includes a one-time professional services engagement, scoped to your existing system migration.

Question 3

Can we import data from our existing system?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have native importers for Avianis, FOS, Leon, AIMS, and CSV exports from any other crew system. Most customers migrate in under 2 weeks.

Question 4

What contract length is required?

Accepted Answer

Month-to-month on Charter Starter and Operator. Enterprise is annual with quarterly review touchpoints. No multi-year lock-ins.

Question 5

Do you offer a free trial?

Accepted Answer

Yes — 30 days, full feature access, no credit card required. Includes a seeded demo fleet so you can evaluate the workflow before importing your live data.

Question 6

Is Voliant FAA-acceptable for compliance recordkeeping?

Accepted Answer

Voliant generates the same flight, duty, and rest records required by §135.63 audit recordkeeping. We are not an FAA-certified system (no such certification exists for crew management software), but our audit log meets POI inspection standards.
